I actually was not a fan of anyone until I moved to the USA and was forced to become one. It was all over then, with hundreds of bands. But I guess Joy Division was there first--that dates me, huh?

Constantly writing, several hours a day, even if I do not have a clue about what to write, even when I am wasted and cannot decipher it in the morning: practice, practice, practice.

Also reading works by (reputedly) great writers and overanalysing their style to shit.
